About

Devon Mathis is a Los Angeles–based cinematographer working across narrative film, commercial, and documentary. He is a storyteller whose work is grounded in character, atmosphere, and traditional filmmaking. Influenced by classic cinema, his approach favors expressive lighting, strong color, elevated naturalism, and purposeful camera movement—all in service of the story.

While pursuing cinematography, Devon spent nearly a decade working in lighting, visual development, and virtual production. As a Lighting Supervisor and Virtual Gaffer, he contributed to many feature films at Sony Pictures such as Anaconda (2025), Spider-Noir, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day and television series including Westworld and Fallout at Magnopus.
